Knitting is not my strongest craft genre....I know the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and have mastered a button hole. So, I think to myself...what can I do with a button hole? I have been wanting to make fingerless gloves, but the patterns I find are all a little intimidating, knit on the round, etc. It dawned on me, a button hole could be a perfect thumb whole! I knew I could knit a rectangle, with a button hole, and sew it into a tube.... voila... a hand warmer!
