In honor of my first Summer Sunday Night (you know how awesome those are as a teacher!!) I thought I would whip up a quick photo tutorial! This skirt turned out pretty cute, nice for a comfy summer night...if we ever get a dry night with temps above 55.... Grrrr. The back kinda does this bubble butt thing, not sure if a dart would help, or if its just my skater booty.... but it's nothing major, I will still wear it.
So here is the tutorial, enjoy!!
And it's done, wrinkly, but done! Pair with a cute tucked in boyfriend T, and some sneaks!!
I have seen lots of bloggers do a mans shirt to skirt refashion, so I tried it and it was a disaster! I have a feeling it was the fabric of the shirt, it made the skirt stick out in a crazy a line and sadly could not be saved!
Yours looks great though :)
Zoe, I think the reason mine turned out OK was that my hubby wears a small or slim fit men's shirt. This means that the part that gets gathered around the waist is not too much fabric. If you have too much to gather, that might make the rest of the skirt stick out, perhaps? Post pictures if you try one!!
That would certainly help! The waist was fine, the problem was the bottom half of the skirt. I think it might have been because of the fabric that it stuck out, it wasn't the drapiest fabric of them all!
Really informative article, I had the opportunity to learn a lot, thank you. https://www.smsbankasi.net/2022/08/amazon-shopify-aliexpress-walmart-ebay.html
